Has anyone been to one of Armando’s live events?
I’m curious what the cost is and if people feel like it was worth the money. He sure just keeps cranking these things out. The funny thing is most people love to buy information. People will buy information on how to get rich, bust most people will never put in the action to make it happen. I think Armando has channeled in the this weakness in people. Thousands of people seem to flock to information and he is more then willing to dish it out. Good job Armando. I hope people find value in what you are offering!
Please leave me a comment if you have been to one of these events.

My husband and I went to his 3 day workshop, which was from 9-5, in our state (MD) just this past weekend. It cost us $1500. Now this may seem like a lot of money, and I must agree that it is, but he gave us the step by step directions of how he does his business and if you follow them (cookie cutter) you too can have the same success. It’s all part of his system. Why reinvent the wheel. We got a guarantee with our purchase that if we do a deal within 90 days we get all of our money back. If we don’t do a deal within 6 months he will triple our money. We got these guarantees in writing. We also got phone #s of his coaches if we have any problems or questions. The problem with most people is that they never take action. This is not our case. We have been armed with so much information so we don’t have any worries because we know that we will be successful with Armando and his team on our side. We thought the workshop was awesome.

Today was the 2nd day of the 3 day seminar. LOTS of information, none stop. I really am learning a whole lot, considering I never knew a thing about real estate. I would say a good 50% is learning/information on how best to proceed, the other 50% is “pep talk” and selling more education, which in reality is probably key. As you said, many people pay and attend then never put the information to work for them. I don’t intend to be one of those people. I’ll get back to you after I flip my first house. Oh yeah, they also teach you other ways to make money in real estate. Thanks Armando/Linda (instructor/mentor)!

Let me start by saying I went about this whole Armando thing a lil’ different then most on this site. My wife and I had previously flipped a property in 2007 -08 right at the verge of a bad market. We walked away with a large check 60k+. we had no idea what to do with the $ but pay debts off or down. Couldnt secure another loan on a property because we had credit but know great paystubs as we already owned a home and I was and am self employed. We had financed the conventional way. (Lot of other variables there but that is the gist of it).
4 weeks ago changed our lives as we were in a rush to go somewhere when my wife called my name from the basement to turn to a channel. I was irritated cause she was supposed to be getting clothes out the dryer so we can hit the road. lol when I turned it was Armandos infomercial! I sat for a minute….minute turned into the whole show and from there we was hooked!
I called the numbers on the commercial numerous times cause i would here someone pick up but no one said anything….just blank. Finally I relaized it was faint music playing so i held and someone finally came on. I booked the 1 day seminar and we were ready! We went to the seminar and all I kept talking about was I know he’s gonna sell us something and low and behold they didnt dissapoint! lol I had a set number in my head of what we would pay. Let me say this to you…….I paid 3 times the amount for a 3 day seminar. I was very, very, very, skeptical but I fought thru it and immediately started reading the packet of books as well as listening to the updated 2010 cds that night that came along with our purchase! The sheer volume of information was great!
Now the 3 day seminar……My wife and I could not wait for it! We went and i thought for the amount of money we paid that Armando was sure to be there. lol he was not, but his real estate investors were there and they are beast with education. The wealth of knowledge was, and is tremendous! The strategies can be done but I will say one downfall is they travel from state to state so you have to apply your own citys laws. The basics are there, you have to have a lil common sense though. For example, an llc in utah is different then in md, we pay $300 as Utah is $52. just a lil ground work for you to research.
At the end of that course there is another package and my wife and I both was like there is no way we are paying that kind of money! Wrong again!…….not only did we pay it…….we cant wait to go to California for the further education! there is alot more to the Bus tour over there besides just going. they offer alot of other things that i wont get into because…..well, I paid good money.
I will post again when we get back….we go at the end of July and will return beginning of Aug. I actually met alot of people from the 3 day seminar who come back tuesday from the tour that just took place. I cant wait to speak with them on wednesday and get the real on what to expect. I really believe that it will be a great experience for them.
I will say in some of the comments i read something about customer service being bad….I will say it is hard to reach someone often, but keep trying till you do. It cant be any worse then trying to reach verizon on the phone( a live person that is)lol .
There are two kinds of people “those that watch things happen” and “those that make things happen”.

The bus tour was awesome and we just finished our boots on the ground training. Your training program is the best! After going to college and also getting my real estate lisence I felt so unprepared to start a career, but after just three weekends of training with you and your staff I feel so prepared to go out there and make it happen. I will realize my dream! Thank you, Armando for caring so much and sharing all of your knowledge and not holding anything back. You are awesome!

This stuff isn’t rocket science, and through Armandos programs one is given everything needed to make this work. He has put together an outstanding group of dedicated, experienced and just plain old great people, and they go above and beyond to help every step of the way.
Of course this doesn’t mean that once you go to a 3 day Workshop, Boots On the Ground and a Bus Trip that you can just sit back and money will fall from the sky into your pockets. This does take work people, not back breaking, physical work, but you have to put the time in to learn the program, break out of your comfort zone and put what you are learning to work for you.
My business partner and I attended a 3 day seminar here in NJ in April 2010. I’m not going to say that we haven’t had ups and downs because we have … it’s inevitable. But, you have to make sure that you learn something with each failure. Since returning from California on the May Bus Tour, we have 4 properties under contract … that’s in 6 weeks time!
This is like getting a college degree in Real Estate Investing … and thanks to Armando we have some of the absolute best teachers in the world guiding and mentoring us! It’s a learning process, and the more you put into it, the quicker it will come together for you.
So, if anyone out there is wondering if this Armando guy is for real and if what he teaches works, I can say for a fact that YES, Armando is the real deal, and follow his blueprint and you will be successful. Believe in yourself, believe in the program, break out of your comfort zone and go for it … you won’t regret it!
And, by the way … so far all of our deals are in Northern NJ, which some believe is a difficult market even now! We truly believe that we can pick up at least 12 more properties before the end of the year! Armando and “Team Montelongo” has definitely given us the tools and the confidence to drastically change our lives and I for one will be forever grateful!
So, don’t look for reasons not to do this, just do it!

Armando seems to preach some questionable tactics, even on his show. I don’t doubt the guy knows his stuff, because he makes lots of money. But his personality seems to override his sense of business most of the time. That said, if Rob and others are making money and can vouch for the program, there is probably a good case for picking up the course. I’m always for getting educated and taking action. I was educated by the Fortune Builders team (from the New Haven episodes of Flip This House) and they are A+ guys, if any of you are looking for good education I can personally vouch for the quality of education. Already closed 2 deals and I’m a complete newbie!
