The purpose of this blog is for real people to give real reviews about Armando Montelongo’s “Flip and Grow Rich” book or his real Estate flipping program.
I couldn’t find any reviews that seemed honest on the net so I decided to try and scrape together some of my own by bulding this little crappy website.
So if anyone has some feedback regarding his programs I would appreciate any feedback.
When you read Armando Montelongo’s blog post about his brother, you will feel his sorrow. In his blog post, as he writes it, he states that he is experiencing something that he has never felt before. He lost his brother, which was one of the closest people in his life. Armando Montelongo’s Brother was Carlos Montelongo. After an eight-month long battle with stomach cancer, he passed away.
In Armando’s posting, he states just how kind Carlos was. Yes, siblings generally talk good about their siblings, but if you ever got to know Carlos, you would know just how nice he was. He was never saw speaking negatively about anyone and he always came off in an encouraging manner. He lived in Delaware and when he called Armando during the month of January to tell him that he had just been diagnosed with gastric cancer and that he had two months to live, Armando was grief-stricken.
Carlos started having pain in his stomach during November of 2007 and lost forty pounds. When he passed away, he had lost one hundred pounds total. He went through natural therapy as the conventional doctors gave up on him and stated that chemotherapy would not be an option for him.
Eventually, the pain took him over and he ended up staying in a hospital in Philadelphia. After he stayed their for one week, the doctors told him that he had to go because there was nothing else they could do for him and they would not let him pass away in the hospital.
This response from the doctors was definitely not good enough and the whole family agreed with that. They moved him to Rancho Montelongo in order to give him the best care he could possibly have. They also gave him something that no money could buy and that was the love from his family. Armando Montelongo’s brother passed away, but when he did, he knew that he was loved. Sharing stories about him and telling everyone his story of battling the disease will keep him alive…
Emotions raged when people began hearing about Armando Montelongo arrested. The charges filed against the A&E Flip this house star were extremely threatening. He was being accused of felony theft charges while he was in Austin, TX.
The charge was all over not paying a bill that was over $4000 for an Austin passed property company that work had been rendered on in 2005 as well as 2006. According to the charges, Mr. Montelongo was accused of hiring appraisal services to perform an appraisal on a home and never paid them for their services.
Mr. Montelongo’s charge is being regarded as a felony, which in the state of Texas is punishable by two years in jail, and a fine up to $10, 000. This information was actually first submitted in 2008, since then Mr. Montelongo claims that things have changed.
The case according to a recent blog entry by Mr. Montelongo was dropped against him. The Flip this house star claims that all of the charges that were given to him were done under false pretences. He still does not fully understand why he was arrested for such an outlandish charge.
According to Mr. Montelongo he plans on filing a suit against the company that was inadvertently out to get him. If the case behind the star ever had any kind of standing, no one truly knows. However, for the police of Travis County to come after Mr. Montelongo and try to accuse him of such a horrendous crime there has to be something that backed up their claims.
So far, this year it looks like the stars arrest record has stayed relatively clear. No companies are trying to come up against him and file claims. No one knows if the claim against the company that accused Mr. Montelongo of not paying for their services was filed or not. The term don’t mess with Texas has some big pull now with this renovation star.
I have heard a lot of people asking if Armando Montelongo’s Flip and Grow Rich program is a scam. I would love if someone who has bought the $997 real estate course could leave some comments so we can really get some solid feedback about the course and if it is worth the money. $997 is a lot to spend on anything let alone some Real Estate course.
So my plea is that someone out there on the wen will read this and give some honest reviews about the Flip and Grow Rich Book along with the Real Estate Flipping Course that Armando offers to his customers.
I want to learn how to flip houses. Armando Montelongo has a combination of e-books and cd’s called “Flip it now” and “Flip and Grow Rich”. Before I purchase anything I’d like to know if anyone has tried it.
If you are interested in flipping a house you need to have two things – money and skill. My experience is that the estimates the TV shows give are totally unrealistic. They show entire homes being gutted and redone for $60K. Unless you are already skilled at plumbing, carpentry and an electrician, lets just say not in your wildest dreams. They also show people with time lines of 12 weeks…Sorry, but that is not realistic either. Permits require time (weeks) then there is the time it takes to get the professionals you need to your house. Believe me when I say they are not just sitting around waiting for your call. You have to get on the “list”. Next we have the market issues. Houses are expected to drop again and the market will be in a slump for perhaps 4-5 years. Are you able to make a purchase and turn it around, and still make it a good buy for The poor market? If not, be prepared to keep th house, rent it, and wait.
I really have to say that sometimes I look at this guy Armando on TV and I really hate his arrogance. I hate the way he talks to people and makes them look stupid.
But I also have to admit that sometimes I really have to admire the guy for building what he has built. I mean to build a successful Real Estate business is one thing, but then to take that business and build it into a TV show then an internet business and self help books is really amazing.
From listening to him on TV he really doesn’t seem to be that smart, but he has one thing that really matters and that is heart. When you have heart you can do anything you desire.
Good for you Armando Montelongo. I hate you, but I admire you.
